Dan Jacobson

"Dan Jacobson was born in Paris in 1942 and obtained a diploma at the École Supérieure des Arts Graphiques Estienne. He is a member of the Group Figuration Critique and has participated in the Salon d'Automne, the Artistes Française and the Salon of Drawing and Watercolour Painting. He has also participated in many mixed exhibitions, including the Biannual of Dusseldorf and at galleries in Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas and New York. With the Group Figuration Critique, Dan Jacobson has also exhibited worldwide in towns including Paris, San Francisco, Nice, Pisa, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Copenhagen. The venues of his exhibitions in France reflect his love of the sea and his skill at marine art, and include le Havre, Concarneau and Aix en Provence. Dan Jacobson has participated in a television programme called ""Maison de Van Gogh"" and is renowned throughout the world for his great ability to depict marine scenes."
